Sue,
If you under the impression that you can visit a place where pet food, animals
of any kind and especially birds (as you stated a Scarlet Macaw fancy your
heart) and not contaminate other birds or visa versa, this is not correct. I
don't care where your husband stood in the building with your animal in the
carrier.
Air born bacteria or viruses can go through out the building no matter *where*
you stand in the building.
...And if you were sitting next to another sick bird in the vets
office....well!

This is a bird farm? And they allowed you to come into their place of
business with your *carrier* with an occupant of that carrier?
....And you've been taking your Crimson to a vets office lately? A *carrier
and occupant * could be contaminating all places back and forth with *anything
that came and went* through visited sites.

Hello Martha,
My Scarlets use to eat their eggs! I had them almost five years before I got
my first baby from them. Hard boiled, cayenne pepper, ceramic eggs, it
all...nothing they continue to eat them. I finally found a way to stop the
habit! So, it would serve me no good to put hard boiled eggs in for
them...and I hate to tell you how many times I changed eggs to have them eat
them, looking for the season or hard boiled egg.
I'm thankful to have stopped their habit, however nothing matters now for my
male is gone...
Thanks for the suggestions...been there and done it all...

I'm very capable of candling eggs and know if they are fertile by day 3!
These eggs were thrown out as laid....
However, more then likely I would have had babies if I left the egg to
develop. However, by day six...I or anyone else can watch the development of
the circulatory system by candling.
Tell me what you think a baby Scarlet Macaw would go for at a real discount?

The other web site outofafrica is being built now. You must come to see for I

At least you know I don't waste my time now...don't you? When I'm at that
business I certainly don't get what I'm getting here! .....and another
thing...at least all of you know now...I have no problems with my 142 IQ!
My IQ went down only 6 points....by my accident..shame on all of you for this
kind of attacks. Anyone should beable to get on this Macaw List to explore,
implore or just hang out with welcome arms from all you old timers to assist,
invite and support anyone who has a disability or inferior to what every you
think they may need in regard to help> Shame, Shame!
Now, you do know I have not one problem with my brain, body or anything else.
Matter of a fact, I made my first profit three years AFTER my accident ... and
I couldn't walk, talk, or write! I wonder if any of you could afford this for
your history!
In all, what I'm saying is this.....God have mercy for anyone who comes to
this list less a *perfect* person of what ever you think. I truly am most
hurt, embarrassed by all of you who could attack me even *with the slightest *
hint of a possible problem pertaining to my brain or anything else you were
told.
I only hope when life passes you with the trueness of being human, you'll do
so well.

Kathy,
My concern is the PVC your using for chewing/toys or even perches. This is
most dangerous for your bird. Please check me out with my regard to this
concern and don't dismiss my warning to you.
I have many large Macaws and the PVC went out the door when I started to do my
own microbiology. I found many strains of resistant bacteria on this
material. Micro splinters can get lodged in the body and cause more
problems. Please check this out with a qualified avian veterinarian.

Kathy your dead wrong...PVC harbors this bacteria....a fact it loves to grow
on PVC.
where did I mention anything about antibiotics in this chat???
as far as the 'sensitivity' plate....where are you at?
I place cultured bacteria on sensitivity plates for the sensitivity of/or
resistance of an antibiotic.
I use EMB AGAR AND XLD AGAR as well, Simmons Citrate AGAR. I guess one might
use Mueller hinton for diagnosis of this resistant strain of bacteria, however
NOT I........... If i have to rule out which pathogen .. or strain of this
resistant bacteria... I use the indole reagent dmaca...
I do not use sensitivity plates for diagnosis...of a bacteria!
I have a two doctors one a biologist and the other a vet to follow up with any
questions pertaining to what I have found...on PVC PIPES! A fact this
material (PVC) is carcinogenic for birds.
Just because a perch, toy is made from a material and sold...does not
constitute the safeness of that product. PVC is to be questioned by you for
you sound like or try to sound like you know what your talking about
....however, you do not!
Now, why did I do this homework....because I invented and patented a Feeding
device and the method for baby birds. I wanted to rule out any plastic
problems...along with that came PVC.
I was instructed by a noted avian researcher for this task ... about five
years ago ...I think!

I dont think so....ten years is ten years....many remarks have been written on
this list BEFORE he made this statement.
As brain injury...dead brain cells. Many ugly remarks of pure hatred! God
have mercy on each and every one of you. What he wrote was a plea to you as
he loves me dearly and this tore him up to no end to read your attacks.
. I can bring up a many of your direct stabs at (WAS) my disability. How DARE
any of you regard someone less then you because of an injury. Further, how
DARE any of you take anyone apart because they ARE less then you in body or
otherwise. As Macaw owners I would have expected more from you.
I suffered TEN years ago and back then I went through the same attacks on
Genie as I have suffered here with you.
I know how the instructions get passed around by hidden email...I've been
there and had that happen to me before...
I know the score...none of you know me! Not one of you do I know.
I thought with Macaw Owners this would be different! I' m outraged!
And you have the nerve to tell me how a "warm hearted, caring and loving
person," most of you are!
You bird owners need to go out and help someone who is disabled to make up for
behavior, just to undo your practice. People are not stupid it is very
obvious what all of you were doing here, to obvious.
If all of you knew the amount of email I have gotten from this list to implore
me to stay, you'd feel very childish and sick to realize you don't have as
many followers as you think.
